The performance-installation The Light and Dark Metropolis reveals a sumptuous screen, where the mobile image transmitted through the frame, unleashes a series of amorphous sensations, whi- ch align the lightness of white to the grotesque suggested by blackness. In search to problematize the tendencies of a fashion that masks, through an idea of beauty, the essential face of our society, the performer directs the viewer’s gaze to the wiles of power that tries to hide the chaotic and visceral present of the contemporary metropolis.
